The older I get, the harder I find it to distinguish between my love of skateboarding and passion for design. Waking up early, determined to create. Practicing the same trick over and over — getting bruised and beaten. Failure fueling work ethic. Over and over until it’s absolutely perfect. Turning raw chaos into a thing of beauty. And twisting the tried and true to make something entirely new.
My style comes from motorcycle trips, architecture and minimalist design. But my attitude comes from being a skateboarder. Which, to me, means more than anything. Because nothing interesting would ever get made if no one was willing to challenge what already exists.
